Deck The Halls

My Christmas opened it's doors this weekend and we were not disappointed!  This amazing festive treasure trove delivered an abundance of Christmas at every turn.  

We visited the store on Sunday morning around 10.00 and thought we would be the only early birds out and about at that time, how wrong we were!  The store was already buzzing with eager Christmas shoppers carrying baskets filled with goodies, friendly, enthusiastic staff and of course carols. We Love Advent Calendars

We love Advent Calendars  - it's as simple as that!  As a child there were only 2 choices the traditional card and paper calendar with a small Christmas scene behind each of it's numbered doors (usually a festive robin or snowman etc) or the chocolate filled variety which delivered a daily chocolate treat each morning. Either made me happy and as a result I couldn't wait to race downstairs each morning for the big reveal!
